Papyrus Tax is a boutique tax practice founded in San Diego and now based in historic Virginia City, Nevada. We work with individuals, families, trusts, and small businesses across the country and abroad — most of it by email, phone, and Zoom, so where you live rarely matters.

Who you'll work with

Heather Billings, EA, CFP®, has been preparing taxes for 20 years, including a decade as a tax manager at Intuit before founding Papyrus Tax. As an Enrolled Agent, she is licensed by the federal government to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states.

Heather built the practice around one idea: every client deserves a preparer who knows their situation and picks up the phone. That means direct access, plain-language answers, and someone who keeps current on tax law so you don't have to.
